Green Marlborough is a group of residents and businesses promoting green choices in the community.  The goals are:

  • Raise awareness and educate the community on the impact of climate change.
  • Reduce energy consumption and costs across the city.
  • Promote “green technologies” in residential, commercial, and municipal applications
  • Actively help mitigate climate change through initiatives that support energy conservation,
    energy efficiency, renewable energy, residential and business energy education, better transportation choices, better building energy choices, tree planting, recycling, land and
    water conservation, and community involvement.

The Cape Light Compact is a regional services organization made up of all 21 towns of Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard, and Barnstable and Dukes counties. The Compact currently operates the state's only succesful municipal aggregation program.
