Green Marlborough is a group of residents and businesses promoting green choices in the community. The goals are:
- Raise awareness and educate the community on the impact of climate change.
- Reduce energy consumption and costs across the city.
- Promote “green technologies” in residential, commercial, and municipal applications
- Actively help mitigate climate change through initiatives that support energy conservation,
energy efficiency, renewable energy, residential and business energy education, better transportation choices, better building energy choices, tree planting, recycling, land and
water conservation, and community involvement.

counties. The Compact currently operates the state's only succesful
